The $300 Colorado Substitute Stipend is still available through September 2024 to help cover the costs associated with obtaining a substitute authorization. First-time substitute teachers may qualify for a $300 stipend upon completing the CDE Substitute Boot Camp (register here) and working a minimum of one day as a substitute teacher in a Colorado school district, BOCES, or charter school.
