Platte Valley School District's rating was recently upgraded by Moody's Investors Services to A1 from an A2. The outlook is stable. Moody's press release highlights the District's history of strong financial performance, conservative debt management practices, and solid management teams as several reasons for the upgrade. As a result, this new rating will increase the demand for the District's bond sale from the recent 2019 bond election and lower the interest rate the district pays, saving our taxpayers money.
Moody's Investors Service is among the world's most respected, widely utilized sources for credit ratings, research, and risk analysis. Moody's holds offices in 27 countries and employs approximately 3,000 people worldwide.
